Stephanie is a very sweet and loving person but for as long as she can remember, she's had an unexplained hatred of Cleopatra. She disliked studying about her in school and her "blood boils" whenever she thinks about or hears Cleopatra's name. She even refers to Cleopatra as "the bitch" but has no idea why. Stephanie hoped to find out why she feels such strong emotions to a woman who lived and died over 2,000 years ago.

She found the answer during her past life regression.

"Look at your feet," I said.
"I'm barefoot watching people on horses, Stephanie replied. "My name is Thena, and I'm 8 years old.  I'm  just watching these people. They're practicing for something but I don't know what."

"Who is there with you?"
"I'm with my dad. He didn't want me to come. I find it fascinating to watch the horses so I tagged along. My dad is a soldier who serves his brother. He's listening to the commands of someone directing them what to do. People are dressed in robe like clothes with armor but not a lot of armor. They're doing practice drills on their horses."

"Where are you?"
"We're in the desert. Hardened dirt, no buildings."

"Describe yourself."
I'm wearing a white dress. My hair is brown, shoulder length, the top of it is pinned up. My mom pinned it up for me. My skin is tanish.

"Where is your mom?"
"She's at home with my brother. I see her washing dishes but there's no water, just a tub. It's dark in the house. There's no floor.  I have a brother, he's a year younger than me but we're almost the same height. He's got dark hair, dark eyes and darker skin than me."

I had Stephanie move forward to the next significant event in Thena's life.

"I'm in Egypt. It's night time. They took me out of bed and I'm being dragged out of the house to the center of town. I'm being held by the guards. I'm being held because she wants me dead."

"Who wants you dead?"
"My cousin. I'm feeling dizzy. The soldiers are wearing dark clothes. They didn't want to be noticed.  My mom, dad and brother are dead. It's just me, my husband and my baby girl Athena who is 8 months old. I'm in the center of town on top of a rickety built wooden platform. They're tying up my hands to the sides of something. I keep asking, Why? Why? I can't see my husband, the soldiers held him back when they got me out of bed. I'm 20 years old. I don't want to die and leave my baby. People are looking at me from inside their houses. No one will come out. The guards told everyone to go back inside."

"Why does she want you dead?"
"She's doing this to make a point. She wants me dead to make a point. She thinks I sided with her sister.

She's in power now."

After a few minutes of silence, Stephanie tearfully announced, "I don't want to be here!"  I had her float above the scene and disattach herself from the feelings of any pain or emotions. Ultimately Stephanie decided that she didn't want to experience what was coming next so I immediately brought her out.

Once out, Stephanie relayed to me that her throat was about to be slashed.

It's important to remember that you are always in charge during a PLR and your wishes are my number one priority. Although Stephanie did not name Cleopatra by name, she had a "knowing" that it was her and was finally able to understand her connection to two women who lived over 2,000 years ago.
